One of the main reasons for having a Bikers Council, is to coordinate issues and events in the biking community.
One of these issues is what happens when someone resigns from a Club and decides to start up his own, new club.
Along these lines, the Pretoria Bikers Council decided to include in the general rules and Constitution, that any new club that is started, may only start riding with their new colours, if they have been riding in the Council for a period of at least 3 months.
This period may be extended, if there are issues between the previous club President and the members who are starting the new club, but this is discussed with the President and the Councils.
This, in fact, happened when Washer decided to quit the Pretoria chapter of the Growlers and started his own Pretoria based club, called Pretoria Wolf Spirit.
After discussions with Leo, then National President of Growlers, Washer was given the go-ahead to start up his own Club in Pretoria.
After following all of the rules laid down by the Council, the time eventually came that Pretoria Wolf Spirit's members may receive their colours and an official "patch-in party" was held at the Phoenix and Sioux Clubhouse.
Awesome to see a new Club following the rules and adhering to the guidelines laid down by their Council. Also awesome to see a Club President making sure that each member of his Club gets a Bikers Bible with his/her set of colours.
Ride on and Ride Safe to all the "wolf pack".
And in the words of their "fearless" Leader: "Love you long time!"
